Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350F. Liberally grease a 13×9″ baking pan with butter.
Into a large bowl, prepare the cake mix according to package directions. Pour into the pan and bake for 22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
After 5 minutes of cooling, poke holes over the entire cake using the handle of a spatula.
Into a medium bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, 3/4 cup of the heavy cream, and vanilla together. Pour the mixture over the cake, allowing the mixture to fill the holes in the cake. Refrigerate the cake.
In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the remaining 1 cup of heavy cream and the sugar together until semi-stiff peaks. Grate in 1 oz of chocolate then continue beating until stiff peaks form. Spread the whipped cream over the cake in an even layer. Garnish each slice with chocolate shavings.
Slice up and enjoy!
