Instructions
- First, put the cold heavy whipping cream in a large bowl and whisk it using an electric whisk or stand mixer until soft peaks form.
- Then add refrigerated @eaglebrandmilk condensed milk, vanilla, and lemon zest into the whipped cream and stir.
- Transfer half of the ice cream mixture into a bowl, then put the strawberry jam and top it with the remaining ice cream.
- Freeze at least 4 hours or overnight!
- For Homemade Strawberry Jam
- You have to make the jam one day before.
- First, cut the strawberries in half.
- In a small saucepan, put the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice and rest it for about 30 min.
- Then bring it to simmer by stirring occasionally.
- Simmer the strawberries while continuing to stir occasionally until the mixture thickens for about 15-20 min. Remove from the heat and chill, and then refrigerate overnight.
