Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 (14 oz.) Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 3/4 cup strawberry jam
  • For Homemade Strawberry Jam
  • 3/4 lbs strawberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  • First, put the cold heavy whipping cream in a large bowl and whisk it using an electric whisk or stand mixer until soft peaks form.
  • Then add refrigerated @eaglebrandmilk condensed milk, vanilla, and lemon zest into the whipped cream and stir.
  • Transfer half of the ice cream mixture into a bowl, then put the strawberry jam and top it with the remaining ice cream.
  • Freeze at least 4 hours or overnight!
  • For Homemade Strawberry Jam
  • You have to make the jam one day before.
  • First, cut the strawberries in half.
  • In a small saucepan, put the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice and rest it for about 30 min.
  • Then bring it to simmer by stirring occasionally.
  • Simmer the strawberries while continuing to stir occasionally until the mixture thickens for about 15-20 min. Remove from the heat and chill, and then refrigerate overnight.
